Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity dedicated to diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

Backed by our passionate scientists and supporters, we’re challenging the way people think about dementia, bringing together the people and organisations who can speed up progress, and investing in research to make life-changing breakthroughs possible.

At Macmillan, we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are our worries. We will move mountains to help you live life as fully as you can. And we don’t stop there. We’re going all out to find ever better ways to help people with cancer, helping to bring forward the day when everyone gets life-transforming support from day one.

The Charlie Waller Trust is a leading mental health charity which focuses on young people’s mental well-being.

With 1 in 10 young people experiencing mental health difficulties, and the inevitable impact of Covid-19 on mental wellbeing, the charity’s work has never been more important. The Charlie Waller Trust gives young people the tools to take care of their own mental health.

We also train and educate those people best placed to spot when a young person might be in trouble and offer the necessary support, such as parents, teachers, university staff and line managers.

We’re the UK charity for over 70,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions. There is currently no cure and in many cases, it shortens lives. We fund world-class research and provide vital support, services and opportunities to people with a muscle-wasting condition to ensure they’re able to live well. #MusclesMatter

Local Charity Partners

In the UK, 1 in 5 women aged 16-59 have experienced some kind of sexual violence. Every year, Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre supports more than 1,000 local women and girls to not only cope and recover from the impacts of sexual violence but to go on to flourish and thrive. We offer free specialist support services including a confidential helpline, email support, advocacy and counselling, and raise awareness of sexual violence, its prevalence and effects. Our work is only possible because of our incredible supporters. Each and every runner joining us makes a huge difference for women and girls across Cambridgeshire who have been impacted by rape, child sexual abuse and sexual violence, giving them support at a time when they need it most.

Tom’s Trust aims to ensure all children diagnosed with brain tumours in the UK have access to in-depth mental health support following diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. We currently support 301 children and we support countless numbers of their families too.

Over 50% of the 6.5 million people with an impairment in the UK are keen to play sport with non-disabled people. Our mission is to embed inclusive sport in the sporting, education and community landscapes, particularly in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties, ensuring “No one is left on the Bench!”
