Elite Athletes
Our Elite Entry Scheme is designed to support high-performing athletes looking to compete at the front of the Cambridge Half Marathon field.
Athletes wishing to be considered for an Elite Entry must have achieved the relevant Elite Performance Criteria since 1 January of the previous year.
Please note that meeting the criteria does not guarantee an Elite Entry. Places are limited, and complimentary entries are allocated at the discretion of the Cambridge Half Marathon team.

At Half-Marathon Distance
Men Sub 67.00 minutes
Women Sub 80.00 minutes
How to request elite entry
Athletes who wish to be considered for an Elite Entry at the 2027 Cambridge Half Marathon should email info@cambridgehalfmarathon.com with their request by Friday 6 November 2026.
We will offer complimentary entries to the 20 fastest male and 20 fastest female athletes, based on recent verified performances. All applicants will be notified of the outcome by Friday 11 December 2026.
If a successful applicant has already entered via the general entry system, their entry fee will be refunded.
