Travel information for Saturday, 8 March

With road closures across Cambridge on race day, we strongly encourage all runners and spectators to plan their journey in advance. The easiest and most sustainable ways to reach the event area are by using Park & Ride, cycling, or walking.

PARK & RIDE

Park & Ride sites around Cambridge are the recommended option if you are travelling from outside the city. They offer large car parks on the outskirts with frequent bus services into the city centre.

Please note:

  • Purchasing tickets online is recommended.
  • Tickets are sold per person at £7 each.

Bike Parking

Cambridge is one of the UK’s most cycle-friendly cities, and cycling is one of the quickest ways to get around on race day.

There will be a secure bike park on midsummer common, available for athletes attending the event, to store their bicycles during the event. This service is free for all athletes to use.
